About the position Position / Specialty: Adult Sickle Cell Clinic RN Shift: alternating 4/9hr (7:30am-5pm M-TH and 8-12 on Fridays), and 4/10s (7am-5:30pm M-TH) Ratios: 1:3 Weekend REQ: N/A Is on-call REQ? (Y/N): N/A Will this traveler need to float within scope to meet facility needs/float between like units/sister facilities? No Required/Preferred Years of experience REQ: 2 First-timers accepted: No License REQ: SC or Multi State/Compact RN license Certs REQ :BLS Trauma Level REQ: N/A Experience REQ: Epic Patient Population/Diagnosis Sickle Cell adult population. Chronic illnesses include CKD, DM, HTN, Cardiac Disease Adult Sickle Cell crisis management, including IVFs, pain medications and blood transfusions. Miscellaneous Local Radius: 60 miles Locals Accepted: Yes, on a case-by-case basis at 10% less than the posted bill rate RTO Restrictions for Client Offers: All RTO must be included at time of submission. Approval will be based on facility needs Guaranteed Hours: Facility is allowed to call off 1 shift per 2 weeks. Special Requirements: N/A Hospital Highlights Type of Facility: Level I Trauma Center, Teaching Facility, Magnet Hospital Total Staffed Beds: 820 Scrub Color: All RNs - Solid Royal Blue or White top with Royal blue bottoms. Charting: EPIC Parking Cost: Parking management office (located 91presidents street) to obtain parking permit. $20 registration fee for a hang tag which will allow use of the garage. No additional fees. Hang tag will not cover parking in any other locations. If parking outside of the 91 Street Parking Garage, additional fees may be incurred. **Travelers should be aware that during hurricane season, all employees and contractors may be assigned to emergency response teams. If this is a problem, please ensure travelers do not confirm a new or ext assignment during the season. Hurricane season runs from June through November each year. The peak months for hurricane activity are August and September.*
