Job Description

PURPOSE

At Floor & Decor, we’re transforming spaces and careers across the country. The most exciting thing we’re building isn’t just floors—it’s a company where dreamers, thinkers, and doers shape our future. With over 250 stores and counting, this is where ambition meets opportunity. Are you looking for new challenges? Let's build what's next.

Your Work Matters

Shape the foundation of what we sell—literally.

As a Merchandise Coordinator for our Tile department, you’ll play a vital role behind the scenes of our Merchandising team. From supporting product flow to managing vendor relationships and ensuring data accuracy, you’ll help keep our tile business moving—both logistically and financially. This role is about details, relationships, and driving category success from the inside out.

Your Days Will Consist Of

  • Partnering closely with stores to resolve issues, gather feedback, and ensure they have what they need to sell with confidence
  • Managing product and vendor documentation, ensuring setup and compliance across internal systems (SKUs, costs, retail uploads, vendor onboarding, etc.)
  • Working directly with international and domestic vendors to manage purchase orders and track logistics, including F&D Express, special orders, and opportunity buys
  • Accurately entering, updating, and maintaining all purchase orders, vendor data, and product details to support seamless operations
  • Collaborating with accounting to resolve invoice discrepancies and reconcile payment issues
  • Supporting product line reviews and category performance analysis with research, data tracking, and presentation prep

You’ll Be Successful With

  • 1–4 years of experience in buying, merchandising, supply chain, operations, or a related role— bonus points for retail or vendor-facing experience
  • Strong Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, etc.) and comfort working in multiple systems
  • A very high attention to detail and strong organizational instincts—you love a spreadsheet, but also know how to spot a gap
  • Great communication skills—you can work cross-functionally with multiple teams, and aren’t afraid to follow up to get things moving
  • The ability to manage multiple deadlines while staying calm, clear, and focused
  • A customer-first mindset, an interest in design and visual presentation, and curiosity around how a product gets from concept to store shelf

You’ll support our Merchants, work with vendors, track inventory, and help our stores succeed—while building a foundation for your own career.
