Job Description

This company, an established leader in its industry is eager to recruit a leader for their Supply Chain Management team. The selected candidate will have the opportunity to work with all level within the organization to ensure the timely fulfillment of customer orders. Responsibilities will include, Purchasing, Production Planning, Inventory Control, Materials Management, Demand Planning [S&OP], Materials Handling, Transportation, Shipping and Receiving. The ideal candidate will need proven experience in vendor relations and inventory management.

This position requires a good overall business sense.

Desired Skills and Experience

1. BS Degree in any field -- Supply Chain, Engineering, logistics would be a plus
2. experience in a manufacturing plant environment
3. 5 + years [ more is better] of experience in a Supply Chain leadership role
4. Strong computer skills including ERP or other sophisticated systems, MS Office including Excel.
5. Professional association membership and/ or certification a plus [i.e. APICS, CSCMP]
6. Enjoy working with both internal and external team member and customers
