Our large high energy CPA firm is seeking motivated accountants who enjoy working with others in the office and consulting with clients.
As an accountant in our firm you will be preparing and reviewing individual and business tax returns, calculation of payroll, and financial statement preparation along with client consulting. Our firm works with individuals and small to large businesses.
We are a fast paced office so candidates with previous CPA Firm experience or those that can work on multiple entities are preferred. We want candidates confidant in keeping up with our professionals.

Requirements:
Financial accounting and tax experience: more than 5 years preferred
Must have experience with QuickBooks (Desktop and QuickBooks Online)
Proficient with UltraTax is a plus.
Word, Excel and Outlook experience required
Must be able to review all types of tax returns and give feedback to preparers
Job responsibilities will include but not limited to:
Manage accounting work and bookkeepers assigned to you; may need to give feedback, training, etc.
Review client's books and records; live and after the fact
Prepare financial statements and consulting with the client when needed
Basic remote computer knowledge to access clients accounting software
Preparation and review of all types of returns (Federal & State): 1040, 1040NR, 1041, 1120/1120S, 1065, 1042, and 990
Tax planning, tax projections
International tax related functions; IRC Section 1446 (experience with forms 8813, 8804, 8805)
Preparation and understanding of forms 5471, 5472 and FBAR's
Addressing and resolving IRS/State notices (communicating with the IRS/State, client as well as written responses)
Performing tax and accounting research
