Gardens of Babylon - Nashville, TN
$35,000 - $50,000 a year

Gardens of Babylon, Nashville's largest family owned garden center and landscape design build firm specializing in natural products and services is looking for the following dynamic team member:

Landscape Designer

Perform a wide variety of landscape designs related to residential and commercial properties. All duties will be performed based on professional training and experience, with minimal supervision and with a focus on sustainable techniques and plants.

Responsibilities include, but not limited to:

Site Measurements, designing & estimating
Working with 3D illustrator to oversee the completion of the 3D flythrough
Complete production notes for accurate installation
Familiar with Microsoft Office, Excel and be willing to learn a new estimating software package
Work with clients to determine the final selection of hardscape materials for the project
Follow-up with the client to keep them informed of the progress
Identify client's objections and ensure we answer all concerns
Compile all items needed for a sales presentation
When needed, provide detailed estimate using our software
Provide detailed job description and scope of work
Finalize Production Notes on the job
Visit site when needed to ensure proper installation of the landscape
Work with Operations Manager to ensure project success
Answer clients questions during the landscape installation process

Qualifications:

Must have a valid driver’s license
Have a B.S. Degree in architectural design or similar field
Must have at least 3-5 years of experience in landscape design
Must have a minimum of 1 year experience in the use of Auto-Cad
Must be able to lift 25 lbs and be fit and healthy to perform required duties
