Job Description

SUMMARY

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Recruiter to join our AcroBlue team in Metro Detroit. This role focuses on sourcing, recruiting, and hiring candidates that meet the job order requirements for existing and prospective client accounts within the light industrial and manufacturing space. This individual will play a key role in ensuring successful placements while providing a consultative and client-facing approach to staffing.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Establish an action plan for each assigned job order with a sense of urgency and ownership.
  • Execute full-cycle recruiting including intake, sourcing, interviewing, candidate qualification, offer extension, and onboarding coordination.
  • Utilize job boards, social media, and referral networks to proactively attract both active and passive talent.
  • Manage high-volume recruiting assignments across multiple clients with the ability to pivot quickly.
  • Maintain a strong pipeline of quality candidates to fill current and anticipated job orders.
  • Partner directly with account managers and clients as the liaison between candidate and hiring needs.
  • Ensure all activities are properly documented within the internal ATS system.
  • Regularly track metrics and performance against scorecard expectations; meet or exceed defined KPIs.
  • Attend job fairs, recruiting events, and networking opportunities as a representative of Acro Blue.
  • Collaborate with internal departments, contributing to a team-oriented culture.
  • Other duties as assigned.

CLIENT-FACING EXPECTATIONS

  • Serve as a primary point of contact for client hiring managers; manage communications and provide updates on recruitment progress.
  • Lead intake discussions and understand client expectations, culture, and business needs.
  • Deliver a professional candidate and client experience through strong communication, follow-through, and responsiveness.
  • Share market intelligence and recruitment strategy recommendations with clients to influence successful hiring outcomes.

REQUIREMENTS

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required.

Experience:

  • Minimum 3+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience is required.
  • At least 1 year in a staffing agency setting, ideally within the light industrial or manufacturing space.
  • Proven experience in client-facing or account management roles is highly desired.

Skills & Competencies:

  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities.
  • Ability to collect, track, and present metrics to management and clients.
  • Knowledge of market trends and ability to adapt recruiting strategies accordingly.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) and applicant tracking systems.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Capable of working both independently and in a collaborative team environment.
  • Ability to navigate candidate concerns and objections professionally and strategically.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS & WORK ENVIRONMENT

  • Frequent sitting, standing, and walking.
  • May occasionally lift up to 15 pounds.
  • Office environment with low noise levels.
  • Travel required 30–40% of the time, as needed for client visits, hiring events, and onsite engagement.
  • Seeking candidates currently residing between Livonia and Harrison Township.
