Job Title: Online Chat Representative – Hybrid

Location: Palm Desert, CA 92211 (Hybrid – 2 days/week onsite)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $26.00 - $33.00 an hour

Requirements/Responsibilities

Position Summary:

Power of Fitness in Palm Desert is seeking a reliable and customer-focused Online Chat Representative to provide exceptional virtual support to our members and potential clients. This hybrid position combines remote customer service responsibilities with in-office collaboration to ensure a seamless and engaging experience for all members. You will serve as the first point of contact for online inquiries, assisting with memberships, scheduling, and general information while maintaining a positive and professional brand image.

Work in a hybrid role – 2 days a week in-office, 3 days a week from home.
We have immediate openings for Online Chat Representatives to join our growing fitness operations team. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about fitness and is comfortable working both on-site and remotely.

Hybrid Duties:

Respond promptly and professionally to online chat inquiries regarding memberships, class schedules, billing, and general gym information.

Provide real-time customer assistance through live chat, email, and online messaging platforms.

Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of member interactions and inquiries using internal customer management systems.

Collaborate with the in-office team to resolve complex issues, ensure member satisfaction, and improve response efficiency.

Track and report on chat response times, customer satisfaction scores, and common inquiry trends to support service improvements.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent (Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree a plus)

Experience in customer service, online support, or call center operations preferred

Strong written communication and multitasking skills

Self-motivated with the ability to manage time and priorities in a hybrid work setting

Work Schedule: Flexible schedule availability, including evenings and weekends.

Hybrid Structure: 2 days per week on-site at our Palm Desert location; remaining days remote
