Position Overview

Taking part of a team which contributes to the success of Pepsi of Minot by managing and controlling bi-weekly payroll processing for multiple locations, as well as, maintaining high-quality, professional support for both internal employees and external customers alike.

Essential job functions and responsibilities may include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Quickly and accurately process regular payrolls
• Maintain employee master files
• Maintain records of insurance and other supporting documentation
• Monitor and maintain timekeeping system required for payroll
• Resolve payroll discrepancies in a professional and timely manner
• Actively onboard new employees, including DOT record keeping
• Monitor employee benefits for all employees, past and present
• Month-end tasks including monthly reports, general ledger entries, accrual entries, and reconciliations.
• Prepare quarterly payroll reports and other miscellaneous reports as required
• Prepare audit materials
• Perform general administrative support such as copying, faxing, filing, etc.
• Other general office and accounting duties as assigned by management

Qualifications

• Degree preferred but not required
• High school diploma

Skills/Abilities

• Experience processing payroll
• High level of initiative and follow-through for task completion
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office with an emphasis on Excel
• Sound judgment, accuracy, and attention to detail
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Handle confidential information with discretion

• Maintain a positive attitude while working as a team player

$20.00 to $25.00 Per Hour Depending on Experience
