Construction Sales Rep – Fire & Life Safety Subcontracting

Location: 100% On Site - Pleasanton, CA

Compensation: Base $125k - $185k + commission--Up to $250K annual earning potential | Full benefits package

Accurate Firestop, a growing leader in Firestop & Fireproofing in Northern California, is seeking a strategic, results-driven Construction Sales Representative to strengthen our position as a preferred fire & life safety subcontractor for leading General Contractors (100% Customer satisfaction). This role is designed for a self-motivated, innovative sales expert with 5+ years of exceptional results and an above-industry close ratio of 25%+ in estimating and securing deals in large-scale, high-value projects.

What You'll Do?

• Execute our strategic sales approach to secure long-term partnerships with General Contractors.
• Identify and close new business opportunities within Healthcare, Government/Federal, Mega Data Centers, and Mega Dot Com sectors.
• Own the full sales cycle – from lead generation and estimating to proposal development, negotiation, and closing.
• Leverage your industry network to position our company as the go-to subcontractor for fire & life safety.
• Collaborate closely with estimating, project management, and field teams to ensure successful project execution.

What You'll Bring:

• 5+ years of proven success in construction sales, with a strong focus on estimating and deal closure.
• Track record of exceeding industry close ratios (25%+) in competitive bidding environments.
• Proven Sales Attainment - $7MM+ annually
• Outgoing and Charismatic having existing relationships with General Contractors (GCs) over $100MM in annual revenue in Healthcare, Government/Federal, Data Centers, and DotCom sectors.
• Proficiency with On-Screen Take Off Software or similar estimating tools
• Fireproofing/Firestop Experience (or Electrical, Drywall, Roofing, Glazing)
• Strategic, relationship-focused approach with a long-term vision for growth.
• Advanced proficiency in On-Screen Takeoff or comparable estimating software, with comprehensive training and expertise.
• Extensive training and hands-on experience with industry-leading project management software, including Procore, PlanGrid, or equivalent.
• Expert-level ability to read and interpret blueprints and specifications.
