Accounting Manager - Up to $130k + 10%

A well-established company based in King of Prussia, PA is looking for an experienced Accounting Manager to lead and oversee key financial operations including general ledger management, accounts payable, tax compliance, and a team of five direct reports. ***3 days onsite, 2 days remote

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead, structure, and manage the operations of the growing Accounts Payable, Tax, and General Accounting teams.
• Direct the monthly close process including journal entry preparation, accruals, variance and margin analysis, and financial reporting.
• Prepare and analyze monthly Profit & Loss statements and present quarterly findings to leadership.
• Perform detailed reconciliations and analysis of balance sheet accounts.
• Supervise the preparation and filing of monthly tax returns and daily tax-related activities, while collaborating with external tax advisors.
• Review fixed asset accounting, including reconciliation, tracking, and budgeting processes.
• Uphold accounting policies and SOX compliance standards, while continuously identifying opportunities for process enhancements.
• Develop in-depth knowledge of financial transactions and workflows within the ERP system
• Drive process optimization by evaluating and improving accounting systems, policies, and procedures to boost efficiency and accuracy.
• Play a key role in coordinating and completing the annual financial audit in partnership with a Big 4 accounting firm.
• Take on special assignments and ad hoc projects as needed.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of progressive accounting experience.
• Experience with direct and indirect tax provisions
