Job Description

📹 Full-Time Videographer – Guide Creative Agency

About Us:

We’re Guide — a content-first, social-led creative agency helping brands stand out with thumb-stopping video and scroll-stopping strategy. We believe content should actually be good , not just check a box. We’re growing fast and need a talented videographer who can shoot with intention, pivot with ease, and bring creative ideas to life in a visually engaging way. 🤠

The Role:

We’re looking for a full-time videographer to join our team who’s equal parts creative and technical. You should love telling stories through the lens, thrive on fast-paced shoots, and know how to make a brand look damn good — whether it's a rooftop shoot at golden hour, a behind-the-scenes brand moment, or a structured studio session.

**We know a lot of videographers who want to do their own thing / passion projects / start their own business / shoot for cool brands when their buddy asks - This role is full time and we would need you through the working hours Mon - Fri.

The weekends are yours! 🍻

You’ll be responsible for:

  • Shooting video content across various formats (Reels, TikToks, YouTube, ads, testimonials, etc.)
  • Capturing both polished and raw/UGC-style footage depending on the project
  • Collaborating with our strategy and editing team to plan for each shoot
  • Setting up shots, framing, lighting, and audio
  • Managing and organizing gear and shot lists for efficiency on-site
  • Understanding how content will be edited and what story we’re telling before pressing record
  • Directing talent when needed (and making non-actors feel comfortable)
  • Traveling for local shoots (and occasional out-of-town work)
  • Staying on top of trends in video and social

What you bring:

  • Proven experience as a videographer — portfolio required
  • Sharp eye for framing, lighting, and movement
  • Comfort shooting on mirrorless/DSLR and setting up audio
  • Strong time management and ability to juggle multiple projects
  • Adaptability: We move fast. You should too.
  • Creative brain: We want your input and ideas, not just your camera skills
  • High level of organization (we don’t have time to lose files or footage)

Perks:

  • Full-time, salaried role (40 hrs/week)
  • Work with a team that’s passionate, collaborative, and knows how to have fun
  • Access to gear and resources (and opportunities to pitch for upgrades)
  • Flexible on-site/off-site balance depending on shoot schedules
  • Be part of a growing agency with room to carve your own creative path
