A progressive small animal practice is seeking a Veterinarian Urgent Care professional to provide after-hours medical attention for pets in need of prompt compassionate care. This role is ideal for veterinarians who thrive in a fast-paced environment focusing exclusively on urgent cases such as minor injuries gastrointestinal issues and wound managementwithout the demands of routine wellness or major surgeries. The practice emphasizes a collaborative Fear Free approach supported by a skilled medical team and modern diagnostic tools.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver high-quality medical care for small animal urgent cases
Communicate effectively with clients regarding diagnosis and treatment plans
Collaborate with the veterinary and technical teams to ensure smooth case flow
Manage a diverse caseload while maintaining strong attention to detail
Contribute to a positive team-oriented work environment
Skills Knowledge and Expertise
DVM/VMD degree from an accredited program (or equivalent via ECFVG/PAVE)
Active veterinary license in good standing (or eligibility to obtain one)
Strong clinical diagnostic and communication skills
Dedication to providing compassionate patient-centered care
