Job Summary:

We’re seeking a Corporate Brand Trainer to serve as the voice of the Freebirds brand —bridging communication between the corporate office and field leadership teams. This role will develop and deliver engaging training content through both written and video formats, including newsletters, how-to guides, and interactive modules within our Learning Management System (LMS). The Corporate Brand Trainer will also conduct field training in restaurant locations, ensuring consistent brand standards and operational excellence. The ideal candidate is creative, tech-savvy, and deeply connected to restaurant culture, with hands-on industry experience and a passion for empowering teams through education and clear communication.

  What You’ll Do (Responsibilities):

For over 30+ years, we’ve served Texas-inspired monster-sized burritos, salads, bowls, and Texas-inspired recipes with “It’s Your World Service,” which is why we are known as Texas’ No. 1 Burrito.

As the Corporate Brand Trainer for Freebirds, you’ll design, deliver, and manage training initiatives that drive engagement and consistency across the brand. You’ll develop learning content for our LMS (such as WiseTail), create videos and newsletters, and lead both in-person and virtual training sessions. You’ll act as the communication bridge between corporate departments and field leaders, ensuring that new initiatives, promotions, and operational updates are clearly communicated and executed at the restaurant level. This position requires frequent field visits to deliver training, observe performance, and gather feedback. You’ll collaborate closely with operations, HR, and marketing teams to ensure alignment and maintain the brand’s voice in all training communications.  

What You’ll Bring (Requirements):

• At least 2 years of experience in training or learning and development, preferably within the restaurant or hospitality industry.
• Experience using LMS platforms such as WiseTail, Schoox, or similar systems.
• Strong communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal.
• Proven ability to create engaging content (written, video, and visual).
• Hands-on restaurant industry experience required.
• Ability to travel for field training and brand support.
• Highly organized with strong project management and follow-up skills.
• Collaborative mindset and the ability to build trust across departments and levels.
• Passion for brand storytelling and inspiring operational excellence through education.
