Our goal is to create an environment where innovation thrives, with office-based teams coming together four days a week to collaborate and thrive, together!_ **Our Vision for this Role** The Technology Depot Technician will be responsible for the shipping/receiving, parts and area cleaning, stocking, and partial inventory management of technology related devices. There is a heavy emphasis towards restaurant point of sale (POS) based equipment in this line of work. This is an entry level position with on-the-job training, therefor experience is a _plus_ , but not required. The Depot Technician I will be working alongside a team of personnel dedicated to the warehousing, repair, shipping/receiving, staging, deployment, and procurement of necessary items to support the whole of Flynn Group's staff and its subsidiaries. This will be paired with the maintenance and accurate inventory management of technology-based equipment utilized by all team members in our nationwide Support Centers and field level personnel. To facilitate this, the Depot Technician will need to work with the Technology Depot staff to maintain efficiencies, proper workflow, utilize tracking software (CG4, FedEx Ship Manager, UPS WorldShip, ServiceNOW), and manage all aspects of delivery and return of goods in need of repair. The Depot Technician I will also learn and adhere to processes for equipment managed by other departments within the company. **What We Will Accomplish Together** + Clean the used Dell XE3 PC + Ensure that 16 GB of RAM is installed + Install a power splitter for two SATA drive connections + Ensure that two SATA cables are installed + Install a dual 3.5" to 2.5" drive adapter + Remove existing CMOS battery and install a new one + Power on the device and adjust BIOS settings + Set the BIOS time/date + Ensure that boot type is set to AHCI + Ensure that Secure Boot is set to active + Ensure that the system information shows 16GB of active RAM + Ship the PC to the store + Properly package and seal the PC in a box + Print and affix a FedEx label to the box + Update the ServiceNow task with tracking information and close the task + Update the Smartsheet page line-item with tracking information **What You Have** + If you have a Bachelor's degree, that is a plus, as well as 1-3 years' experience in IT or related field. + You should have great customer service, verbal and written communication skills required. + You should have the ability to type 40 words per minute. + You should have the ability to lift, carry, and place various equipment up to 50 pounds. + Finally, you should bring an excellent sense of humor to the table - we like to have FUN! **Why Work For Flynn?** Flynn Group offers a variety of benefits and perks to encourage and empower our employees.
