What you will learn:

• How to identify the right technical talent for leading dev teams in the metroplex
• Complete ownership of a recruiting process from the identification stage all the way to the offer stage
• How to build rapport and a level of trust to make yourself a valued advisor during the hiring process
• The true meaning of collaboration in a lean, agile recruiting team
• Industry knowledge from veterans who have ‘been around the block… (or Bok, get it?)’
• How to network while keeping yourself from being defined as “just another recruiter”

Responsibilities:

• Proactively develop candidate contact relationships utilizing cold-calling techniques (sourcing), LinkedIn messaging, responding to leads and prospecting for known and unknown candidates using the company database.
• Maintain an appropriate amount of contact with new and existing candidates to ensure customer satisfaction in perm, contract, and contract-to-hire settings
• Negotiate pay rate/salary with candidate pool
• Appropriately partner with departmental and corporate-level teammates to ensure the completion of necessary documentation relating to placements

Qualifications:

• Consistent/persistent hard worker who is dedicated and committed to succeed with the drive and ability to get results.
• Possess high level of self-responsibility and ownership of results.
• Confident (but not arrogant), with both competitiveness, curiosity and creativity to devise solutions as key personality traits.
• Effective written and oral communication
• Honest and moral character to grow relationships and to earn a trusted-partner status with our candidates.
• Effective negotiation skills, striving for “win-win” outcomes.
• Excellent prioritization and problem-solving skills
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage the details of a large book of business.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office software
