In this fulfilling position, you have the opportunity to provide treatment to each client to enhance their speech and language development in a warm, nurturing environment.

You will collaborate with families and other professionals to create a fun and effective learning environment for each child.

Responsibilities:

• Follow a treatment plan to address each client's specific needs
• Provide direct treatment to clients and monitor their progress
• Collaborate with team members
• Communicate to parents and/or caregivers regarding their child's progress in each therapy session
• Complete weekly lesson plans for each client
• Document therapy sessions weekly in the electronic health records system
• Stay current with the best practices in speech language pathology

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Have a valid and active license from the Louisiana Board of Examiner for Speech Language Pathology and Audiology
• Pass a criminal background check
