We are currently seeking a dedicated Elementary School Special Education Teacher for a full time position this school year in Yamhill County, Oregon
Details You Should Know:
- Location: In-person (no virtual or hybrid option)
- Schedule: Monday - Friday
- Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours
- Start Date: March 2025
- End Date: June 11, 2025
Key Responsibilities:
- Special Education Teacher for a self contained elementary school classroom.
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with special needs.
- Provide instruction in a variety of settings, including small group and one-on-one instruction.
- Monitor and assess students’ progress toward IEP goals and adjust instruction as needed.
- Manage classroom behavior and provide a positive, supportive learning environment.
- Maintain accurate student records and communicate progress with parents and school administrators.
- Attend and participate in meetings related to students' education, including IEP meetings.
Qualifications :
- Valid Oregon State Teaching License with Special Education endorsement
- Bachelor’s degree in Special Education or related field.
