Job Description

POSITION OVERVIEW:

The Business Process Specialist will be responsible for providing guidance and support in the assessment and implementation of operational and business process change and improvement initiatives. This position will assess, document, develop, and implement processes to improve efficiency and performance both internally with business stakeholders and externally with our vendor partners and clients. This role requires building relationships and working with key stakeholders to ensure alignment and development of efficient and effective processes in line with strategic business objectives.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Plan, facilitate, and execute continuous improvement and change management projects using PM, Lean, and OCM methodologies. Clearly define program objectives, scope, and determine criteria for project success.
  • Document current state processes while assessing and developing KPIs, RACI, systems, and data using BPMN standards. Identify and track problems and potential future state solutions. Work with SMEs and business stakeholders to create global alignment on standardized processes.
  • Work globally to understand regional specific requirements and align on global standards.
  • Manage and establish accountability for assigned processes and programs, including customer experience, supplier performance, and overall program success.
  • Collect and analyze data to identify trends, bottlenecks, and areas for improvement.
  • Teach, lead, and coach cross-functional teams on continuous improvement and lean methodologies.
  • Develop and maintain documentation and SOPs, including process workflows, job aids, modules, recordings, etc.
  • Secure employee commitment for alignment, support, and proactive change management.
  • Work cross functionally with all areas of the business including external partners, internal operations, and Choice business units to identify areas of improvement and implement solutions.

SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 3+ years proven experience in Business Process Management, Process Modelling, Business Analysis, or related field
  • Lean Six Sigma Greenbelt+ preferred
  • Change Management certification preferred
  • Proven track record of working with cross functional teams
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills (verbal and written)
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to think critically and identify pain points, manual touchpoints, gaps in current processes, while also looking forward to solutions
  • Excellent organizational, time management, presentation, and facilitation skills
  • Proven track record of creating process maps and effectively communicating BPMN standards
