Job Title: Solar Project Manager

About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Solar Project Manager to oversee utility-scale solar and Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) projects from pre-construction through closeout. This role is based out of our Goodyear, Arizona office and will require some travel depending on the stage of each project.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage day-to-day operations across all phases of solar and BESS construction projects
Coordinate with field teams, subcontractors, and stakeholders to ensure schedules, budgets, and quality standards are met
Serve as the primary point of contact between the project site and office, facilitating effective communication and issue resolution
Monitor construction progress and conduct regular site visits to maintain project oversight
Ensure compliance with safety regulations, environmental policies, and quality standards
Prepare and maintain detailed project documentation, including schedules, reports, and change orders
Assist in the development of project scopes, budgets, and resource planning
Requirements:
Minimum of 3 years experience as a Project Manager on large-scale solar and BESS projects
Heavy civil construction background with proven experience managing grading, trenching, roads, and foundations
Must have hands-on experience working directly on job sites -not just from the office
Strong understanding of construction scheduling software and project controls
Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
Ability to travel as required by project phase
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred (not required)
Location & Travel:
This is an on-site role based in Goodyear, AZ , with travel required depending on project needs. Candidates must be comfortable with both in-office collaboration and frequent site visits.
