Department:Health System Shared Services | Enterprise Custom Applications Scope of Position Web Application Development is a cross functional solution-driven team that provides custom development services, enterprise application platforms, workflow services and tailored analytics to improve business processes and leverage existing solutions within organization. Our team accomplishes these services by utilizing analysts to understand our business processes and systems, utilizing technical and solution architects to validate the technical direction of the designed solution, and utilizing developers to develop and integrate the solution. Our solutions engage many roles in our organization (internally and externally) including clinicians, researchers, administrators and shared services. Position Summary A software release engineer participates in project teams and the development and implementation processes that will deploy, maintain and monitor custom applications / websites for the medical center. Leveraging vendor products/platforms for CI/CD, application monitoring and application unit testing, this position leads the IT cross functional project teams to build the structures and services in a consistent repeatable manner. They test and troubleshoot limited complexity applications and follow the department's processes such as project, change, incident and risk assessment management.
