Social Media Intern – Private Label Jewelry Company - NYC

Are you passionate about social media, extremley technically savvy, and eager to gain hands-on experience in the world of fashion and direct-to-consumer (DTC) brands?

We’re seeking a Social Media Intern to join our growing jewelry company based in New York City.

This is a unique opportunity to get involved with a dynamic and fast-paced Company, supporting a range of exciting brands and creative initiatives!

Please note this is a fully onsite, unpaid internship opportunity, with potential to receive a weekly stipend. Our hope is that the right candidate has availability between 20 and 40 hours a week. Please do not apply to this job if you are not comfortable working onsite full time, or not open to an unpaid internship with potential for a weekly stipend.

Key Responsibilities

• Day-to-day management of all social media platforms including Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, Pinterest, and others
• Content scheduling, posting, and community engagement across platforms
• Assist in developing and executing social media strategies to grow brand awareness and engagement
• Website updates and support across various jewelry brand sites (e.g., uploading new products, updating content, etc.)
• Monitor performance metrics and report on engagement, traffic, and growth
• Research trends and stay on top of the latest social media best practices
• Work collaboratively with the Director of Brand to align digital content with broader brand goals

Qualifications

• Strong technical skills are an absolute must. You should feel extremely comfortable navigating digital platforms, tools, and troubleshooting issues that may arise.
• Demonstrated knowledge and passion for social media, especially Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook
• Experience using social media scheduling tools and analytics platforms is a plus
• Comfortable working independently and learning quickly in a fast-moving environment
• Organized, detail-oriented, and proactive in communicating and managing time
• Prior experience in a creative field (fashion, design, media) is a plus - but not required
