Senior Project Controls Specialist Job Description Location: United States Start Date: 25 August 2025 Pay Rate: $70 Per Hour Job Description: We are seeking a Senior Project Controls Specialist to join our team in the renewable energy sector. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the project controls functions for various renewable energy projects, ensuring that they are completed on time and within budget. You will work closely with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to develop and implement project controls strategies that optimize project performance and minimize risks. Key Responsibilities: Develop and implement project controls strategies for renewable energy projects Monitor project progress and performance against established baselines Identify and analyze project risks and develop mitigation plans Prepare and present project controls reports to senior management Collaborate with project teams to develop project schedules and budgets Provide guidance and support to project teams on project controls best practices Required Skills and Experience: Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, or related field Minimum of 5 years of experience in project controls, preferably in the renewable energy sector Proficiency in project management software such as Primavera P6 or Microsoft Project Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously
