Job Description
Salary: $204,900 - 257,200 per year Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Minimum of 6 years of experience in application development (Internship experience not included)
- At least 2 years of experience in big data technologies
- Minimum of 1 year of experience with cloud computing (AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud)
- Master’s Degree preferred
- 9 years of experience in application development including Python, SQL, Scala, or Java preferred
- 4 years of experience with public cloud (AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud) preferred
- 5 years of experience with Distributed data/computing tools (MapReduce, Hadoop, Hive, EMR, Kafka, Spark, Gurobi, or MySQL) preferred
- 4 years of experience working on real-time data and streaming applications preferred
- 4 years of experience with NoSQL implementation (Mongo, Cassandra) preferred
- 4 years of data warehousing experience (Redshift or Snowflake) preferred
- 4 years of experience with UNIX/Linux including basic commands and shell scripting preferred
- 2 years of experience with Agile engineering practices preferred
Responsibilities: - Collaborate with Agile teams to design, develop, test, implement, and maintain technical solutions using full-stack development tools and technologies
- Lead a team of developers skilled in machine learning, distributed microservices, and full-stack systems
- Utilize programming languages such as Java, Scala, Python, and Open Source RDBMS and NoSQL databases, along with Cloud data warehousing services like Redshift and Snowflake
- Stay updated on tech trends, experiment with new technologies, and engage in internal and external tech communities while mentoring fellow engineers
- Work with digital product managers to deliver powerful cloud-based solutions that enhance financial empowerment for millions of Americans
- Conduct unit tests and collaborate with team members to ensure code is well-designed, efficiently written, and optimized for performance
