What You’ll Do

As a School Psychologist, you'll be an integral part of a school-based team, working directly with students, families, and staff to support academic, social, emotional, and behavioral growth. Key responsibilities include:

• Conducting comprehensive psychological evaluations to assess academic, emotional, and behavioral needs
• Providing direct support and interventions to students, including counseling and crisis response
• Collaborating with educators, families, and school teams to develop IEPs and behavior intervention plans
• Participating in eligibility and problem-solving meetings
• Supporting equity and inclusive practices across school communities
• Consulting with staff and external providers to coordinate student services
• Maintaining compliance with professional standards and district procedures

Requirements

What We’re Looking For

• Valid  New York School Psychologist certification
• Master’s, Specialist, or Doctoral degree in School Psychology
• Strong assessment skills, including experience with psychoeducational evaluations and report writing
• Familiarity with MTSS, IEP teams, and special education eligibility processes
• Ability to provide both direct and consultative services to students, families, and staff
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• At least 2 years of school-based experience preferred
• Commitment to equity, inclusion, and student-first support
• Full-time availability for the entire 2025–2026 school year in the Yorktown Heights, NY area (onsite/in-person)
