School Psychologists Needed in near Chicago! Seeking experienced school psychologists interested in working with highly engaged students. 25/26 School Year.

Position Details:

• Location: Orland Park, IL.
• Contract through the school year – 37.5 to 40 hours per week.
• The contract follows the academic district calendar - 36 weeks.

Compensation & Benefits:

• Weekly Pay: $2,250 - $2,325.
• Untaxed Per Diems & Travel Stipend for eligible travelers.

Requirements:

• Graduate Degree (M.A., Ed.S., M.S. Ed., Ph.D., Ed.D., or Psy.D.) in psychology, social work, or counseling.
• Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) Endorsement for School Psychologist.
• Experience conducting psycho-educational evaluations.
• Must possess strong communication and organizational skills.
• Must demonstrate initiative and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Must have the ability to stand or sit for extended periods of time; see and read a computer screen and printed material with or without vision aids; hear and understand speech at normal levels and on the telephone; speak in audible tones so that others may understand clearly in person and on the telephone; and the ability to understand and follow oral and written instructions; May include frequent walking, standing, stooping, lifting up to approximately 25 pounds and occasional lifting of equipment and/or materials weighing up to approximately 40 pounds may be required.

Essential Functions:

• Administers and Interprets assessment information accurately and presents findings/recommendations.
• Coordinates and participates in benchmarking and progress monitoring.
• Individual and group counseling.
• Conducts classroom observations of students to analyze behavior and learning dynamics.
• Develops short and long-term goals for students assigned for counseling.
• Provides consultation to teachers and parents on strategies to effect positive changes in the student and his environment.
