Role Overview

The Salesforce Developer will be instrumental in designing, developing, and optimizing Salesforce solutions that support the operational and strategic goals of a solar energy partner. Embracing both remote flexibility and on-site collaboration, this role enables impactful contributions to sustainable energy initiatives through technical excellence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze business requirements and translate them into scalable Salesforce solutions—including Apex code, Lightning components, Visualforce pages, and low-code automations.
  • Design and build high-performance, reusable code using Apex and Lightning Web Components (LWC), while ensuring adherence to best practices and maintainability.
  • Troubleshoot and optimize existing Salesforce features, delivering enhancements and improvements based on user feedback.
  • Develop integrations with third-party systems via APIs and web services—ensuring data flows securely and efficiently across platforms.
  • Write unit tests and support CI/CD processes to maintain code quality and enable smooth deployments.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders—including administrators, architects, and business teams—to align solutions with business needs and sustainability goals.
  • Maintain clear documentation and share knowledge to ensure continuity and success within the team.

Ideal Qualifications

  • Technical Experience : 2–5 years as a Salesforce Developer with strong command of Apex, SOQL/SOSL, Visualforce, and Lightning component development.
  • Certifications : Salesforce Platform Developer I (essential); Platform Developer II (preferred).
  • Integration Skills : Practical experience with REST/SOAP APIs or middleware platforms.
  • Soft Skills : Excellent communication, troubleshooting prowess, attention to detail, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
  • Bonus : Passion for renewable energy and sustainability, or experience working with solar or green energy sectors.

Why This Opportunity Stands Out

  • Hybrid Flexibility : Enjoy the best of both worlds—remote productivity combined with in-person team synergy.
  • Compelling Compensation : Earn up to $85/hour while contributing to sustainable energy projects.
  • High-Impact Work : Be part of a mission-driven organization making tangible contributions to solar energy expansion.
  • Growth Potential : Gain exposure to architecture-focused development, integrations, and cross-functional collaboration in a forward-thinking industry.
