POSITION DESCRIPTION

• This role will serve as a "swing-shift" safety professional to support the client's North American Parts distribution center. This is a 24-7 operation, and this role will support the 1st shift Safety team, as well as provide coverage for half of the 2nd shift operation. The position will complete accident, incident, and near miss investigations and work with appropriate parties to develop and implement corrective actions. This role will help develop client's Required and OSHA compliance training as well as deploy all required training to the 2nd shift operation. This role will also support the management of mobile equipment certifications and certification tracking. This role will also serve as a general resource for risk identification, auditing, and control to the 2nd shift NAPDC operation.

SKILL SET REQUIREMENTS

• Knowledge and experience in a warehousing or manufacturing environment with a strong safety background is required
• Safety Degree and/or very strong manufacturing safety experience
• MS Office suite
• CSP accreditation preferred

ADDITIONAL NOTES

• Metatarsals are required from day one
• This is an Onsite, 2nd Shift position. Hours are Mon-Fri 10:00 am – 6:30 pm
• This position will be on the shop floor about 50% of the time
