Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Regulatory Reporting Business Analyst with a strong background in U.S. financial regulations, data management, and technology. This role requires a unique blend of financial expertise, technical acumen, and stakeholder engagement to support complex regulatory reporting and data initiatives in large-scale banking or financial organizations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Translate business needs into well-documented technical requirements, including features and user stories.
  • Support regulatory reporting initiatives, including exposure to reports such as Y9C, Y14, Call Reports, Y15, and 2052a.
  • Collaborate with Finance, Technology, and Business teams to define, develop, and implement data solutions for regulatory compliance.
  • Analyze and manage financial data domains to meet regulatory and analytical requirements.
  • Apply Agile methodologies, including SAFe, to manage deliverables and projects in a dynamic environment.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams in infrastructure, software development, data analytics, and data management initiatives.
  • Utilize SQL and data analysis skills in support of big data and relational database environments (e.g., Hadoop, Cornerstone).
  • Leverage knowledge of AxiomSL, Adenza, or Nasdaq platforms to support regulatory reporting processes.
Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of experience in U.S. Federal Reserve or financial regulatory reporting, banking, financial services, or controllership.
  • Working knowledge of Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) and Agile practices; PMP or SAFe certification is a plus.
  • Proven experience with U.S. financial regulatory compliance and related reporting standards.
  • Strong understanding of relational databases , data management, and SQL .
  • Experience with big data platforms (Hadoop, Cornerstone) and cloud/on-prem environments .
  • Preferred experience with AxiomSL, Adenza, or Nasdaq solutions.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines.
  • Strong analytical , problem-solving , and organizational skills .
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to convey complex ideas across Finance, Technology, and Business stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to build strong relationships and collaborate across diverse teams.
  • Degree in Finance, Accounting, or Information Technology (or related field).
