Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) to join our wonderful team at our dental practice in Oakland, NJ .

Responsibilities:

• Assist the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures.
• Take and develop dental X-rays as needed.
• Sterilize and prepare instruments and treatment areas.
• Ensure a clean, safe, and organized dental environment.
• Maintain patient records and ensure they are up to date.
• Provide patient education and comfort during treatments.
• Manage inventory of dental supplies and ensure all equipment is in good working condition.
• Provide chairside assistance, including handing instruments, materials, and supplies to the dentist during procedures.
• Ensure patient confidentiality and compliance with dental health regulations.

Qualifications:

• Active RDA certification/X-ray license in the state of New Jersey.
• Knowledge of dental procedures, terminology, and office protocols.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Compassionate and caring attitude toward patients.
• Experience with dental software is a plus.

Work Schedule:

• Monday - Thursday (Fridays and weekends off!)
