Job Description

Temporary receptionist/administrative assistant needed for a financial services firm in NYC. Must be incredibly professional and have at least 2+ years of work experience within a professional office setting. Finance experience is preferred.

Onsite in the office, Monday - Friday

Hours: 8:30am - 5:00pm

Pay rate: $25/hr

Responsibilities

  • Warmly greet and assist guests, residents, and vendors upon arrival and departure
  • Provide detailed information about residences, services, and amenities
  • Manage incoming and outgoing packages, mail, and courier services efficiently
  • Track and manage visitor logs, including clients and guests
  • Assist with facilities-related tasks and ad hoc assignments as needed
  • Collaborate with team members to improve guest services and share best practices
  • Conduct periodic walkthroughs and follow-up requests to ensure quality service

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree is required
  • Minimum of 2 years of administrative experience preferred
  • Strong customer service orientation with professional communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Highly organized and capable of prioritizing multiple tasks effectively
  • Upbeat and friendly demeanor suitable for a people-facing role
  • Attention to detail, including strong grammar and proofreading skills
