We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented **Real Estate Analyst** to support our growing real estate investment business. The role involves conducting in-depth analyses of commercial and residential properties, including industrial, self-storage, and multifamily assets. You will be responsible for preparing offers, creating proformas from scratch, evaluating building costs, conducting replacement cost analyses, and compiling comparables. You will also build dynamic Excel models with multiple scenarios and create back-of-the-envelope templates for quick assessments.
* **Property Analysis**: Evaluate commercial (industrial, storage, multifamily) and residential real estate opportunities.
* **Proforma Creation**: Develop comprehensive proformas from scratch to assess potential investments.
* **Offer Preparation**: Prepare detailed offers based on financial analysis and market research.
* **Cost Analysis**: Perform building cost analysis, including replacement cost evaluations.
* **Comparables**: Identify and analyze comparable properties to support investment decisions.
* **Financial Modeling**: Create Excel models with multiple scenarios to evaluate various investment outcomes.
* **Quick Assessment Tools**: Develop back-of-the-envelope templates for rapid deal assessments.
* **Reporting**: Provide clear and concise reports summarizing analysis findings.
✅ **Real Estate Knowledge**:
* Solid understanding of commercial real estate (industrial, storage, multifamily) and residential properties.
* Experience analyzing deals, evaluating costs, and assessing market trends.
✅ **Financial Analysis**:
* Proficient in creating proformas, financial models, and scenario analysis.
* Ability to perform detailed cost analysis and replacement cost evaluations.
✅ **Excel Proficiency**:
* Advanced Excel skills, including financial modeling, scenario analysis, and creating templates.
* Ability to design clear, user-friendly models and reports.
✅ **Attention to Detail**:
* Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data accurately and make informed recommendations.
✅ **Communication**:
* Ability to present findings clearly and effectively through reports and models.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
✅ **Tools Familiarity (Preferred)**:
* Experience with platforms like **LandVision**, **Podio**, **Launch Control**, or similar real estate software is a plus.
