Job Description

Job Title: Quality Assurance Assistant

Location: Concord, CA

Type: Full-Time, Ongoing Contract

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8 hours/day 8:30 AM–5:30 PM)

Pay Rate: $22-25/hour

Overview:

A leading organization in the Concord area is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Quality Assurance Assistant to support its Quality Assurance and Regulatory Affairs department. This full-time, ongoing contract role is ideal for someone who thrives in a structured environment and enjoys working with documentation, compliance, and cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Scanned and filed documents and records related to product manufacturing, quality control testing, and quality management system processes in accordance with recordkeeping procedures.
  • Conducted line clearance and approval tasks by thoroughly reviewing documentation and calculations to ensure accuracy and compliance with departmental standards.
  • Created and reviewed Certificates of Analysis and Certificates of Conformity to support product release and regulatory requirements.
  • Utilized electronic system tools to maintain compliance and uphold good documentation practices.
  • Performed various organizational duties and supported quality initiatives as assigned by management.
  • Took on additional responsibilities and tasks as delegated by management to support departmental goals.

Requirements:

  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and email platforms.
  • Familiarity with PDF formats and cloud-based systems.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Positive interpersonal skills and a collaborative mindset.

Preferred Experience:

  • Experience in a regulated industry, manufacturing environment.
  • Background in archiving or document control is a plus.
