Job Description

Job Title: Affordable Property Manager

Duration: Direct Hire

Location: Onsite – NE Portland, OR

Compensation: $32–$37 per hour

Hours: M-F, 8am-5pm

About the Role:

LHH Recruitment is seeking an experienced and dedicated Affordable Property Manager to oversee the daily operations of a 100+ unit affordable housing community in NE Portland. This is a direct hire opportunity offering competitive hourly pay and the chance to make a meaningful impact in the community.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage all aspects of property operations, including leasing, rent collection, maintenance coordination, and resident relations.
  • Ensure compliance with all affordable housing regulations (e.g., HUD, LIHTC).
  • Supervise on-site staff and vendors to maintain high standards of service and property upkeep.
  • Prepare budgets, financial reports, and occupancy reports.
  • Conduct regular property inspections and address issues proactively.
  • Foster a positive, inclusive, and respectful community environment.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience as a Property Manager overseeing an affordable housing property with 100+ units.
  • Strong knowledge of affordable housing programs and compliance requirements.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in property management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to work onsite full-time in NE Portland.
