Our client, a not-for-profit financial services provider located in Washington, D.C. is in need of a part-time project manager for the build out of a broadcast production studio at their headquarters.
This is a contract/temporary role with 10-24 hours/week (not to exceed a total of 20 hrs/wk average) through December, with potential for extension. Pay rate is $75/hour
Project Manager Must-Haves:
• Construction experience
• Preference for broadcast or production studio experience
• Strong AV background
• Keen eye for design
• Proven track record in delivering on time, within budget & scope
• Experience working on behalf of a not-for-profit &/or association is a plus
• Strong financial acumen; proven ability to provide accurate & timely financial forecasts
• Proven track record as an excellent vendor relationship manager
• Very detail oriented (documenting decisions, notes, recaps)
• Hands on approach for follow-up, with persistence and finesse
• Excellent at risk & stakeholder management
• Superior communication skills; shines particularly with stakeholder engagement, beyond the
'nuts and bolts" literally
• Leads with empathy in dealing with impacted parties – foresees & actively enables action
planning to ensure the least amount of disruption to the business
• Quickly align to team schedule
• Expect weekly check-ins with manager to ensure fit, focus & performance
