Senior Project Manager – Enterprise Risk & AI Governance

Location: 51 Madison Avenue New York, 10010

Hybrid schedule

o Tuesday – Thursday Onsite

o Monday/Friday Remote

Duration : Initial 6-month contract with a possible extension

Working Hours : Standard office hours (9 AM – 5 PM)

Role Overview

We are seeking a results-driven Senior Project Manager to lead enterprise-level initiatives across business, risk, and technology functions within our Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) organization. This role will be instrumental in driving projects that support responsible AI deployment, ensure regulatory alignment, and enhance the effectiveness of risk governance across the organization.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, Risk Management, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
• 10+ years of project management experience in complex, regulated environments (e.g., financial services or insurance), including 3+ years in risk, compliance, technology, or governance.
• Proven success managing large, complex, cross-functional projects with business, technology, and risk stakeholders.
• Experience operating within matrixed organizations and managing multiple concurrent initiatives.
• Ability to manage third-party vendors or consultants as part of project delivery.
• Exceptional communication, analytical, and leadership skills.
• Proficiency with project management tools such as Microsoft Project, Coda, Confluence.
• PMP, PgMP, or equivalent certification required.

Preferred Skills

• Experience working within an AI governance, enterprise risk management (ERM), regulatory compliance, or model risk management (MRM) program. Experience working on regulatory initiatives a plus.
• Strong understanding of governance, regulatory compliance, and risk principles applicable to financial and insurance institutions preferred.

• Panel Interview: Two additional VIP stakeholders (Video)
