This is a full-time, direct placement role at DeBella Mechancial.

De Bella Mechanical is a medium sized mechanical contracting company located in Santa Clara, CA. We have an immediate opening for an accountant to act as a Project Accountant working with the Office Manager and Controller to improve billing cycle and collection cycles as well as maintain project cost controls. De Bella Mechanical uses a software management/accounting database called Sampro.

Project Accountant Job Description

• Maintain jobcost in Sampro data base accounting software
• Open new projects with input from PMs
• Perform Certified Payroll Reports for public works projects
• Invoice projects
• Work with PMs to generate accurate jobcost reports
• Manipulate jobcost reports in Data Analytics to report cost data
• Maintain up to date aging report for company
• AR management and collections
• Manage job files
• Assist with payroll input and posting
• Assist with AP when necessary
• Issue work order numbers for emergency repairs
• Issue Subcontracts

• Bachelors in Accounting degree (CPA not required)
• Excellent computer skills
• Previous construction accounting experience and working knowledge of the construction industry (AP/AR, CPR)
• Experience in accounting software (Sampro preferred)
• Ability to work in fast paced environment
• Good customer and communication skills
• 5+ years of experience preferred

Compensation details: 75000-80000 Yearly Salary
