Job Description

An automotive parts manufacturing company in the Napoleon, OH area is seeking a Program Assistant Manager candidate to join their team! You will be responsible for leading / planning / directing / coordinating new projects by communicating with customers, vendor, and internal departments. This is a direct-hire and full-time position.

Program Assistant Manager Responsibilities Include:

• Supervise other staff members in various department (purchasing, logistics, project management, etc.)
• Monitor the projects and make changes by developing policies and procedures
• Coordinate with customers and vendors to determine the project timelines and workflows
• Create reports to keep track of the progress of projects
• Work with purchasing and sales teams to manage cost and budget
• Conduct meetings with team members regularly
• Other duties as assigned

Program Assistant Requirements Include:

• Bachelor’s degree preferred
• 5 years of experience in industrial manufacturing
• Experience in project management, budgeting, scheduling is a plus
• Great interpersonal, organizational, communication skills
• Understanding of engineering calculations, cost analysis, accounting is a plus
• Knowledge of APQP, PPAP, and IATF is a plus
• Good computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint

This position is in an office work environment. While performing the duties of this job you may be required to intermittently sit, stand, walk, lift up to 25 pounds, lift in excess of 25 pounds with a lift assist, climb stairs, use hands to handle or feel parts/equipment, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch, bend at the waist, talk and hear. You may also be required to use close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and peripheral vision.
