Job Description

The Production Manager is responsible for overseeing daily cleaning operations at multiple client sites, managing teams of 15+ staff, maintaining service quality, and tracking labor and revenue metrics. You’ll serve as the connection between field crews, clients, and company leadership.

This position requires early morning availability, local travel between sites, and a proactive, hands-on leadership style.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and support cleaning crews across multiple locations
  • Hire, train, and develop team members on procedures and standards
  • Conduct site visits and inspections to ensure quality and compliance
  • Track labor hours, review schedules, and confirm payroll accuracy
  • Monitor supply usage and ensure proper equipment is available
  • Respond to client concerns promptly and professionally
  • Monitor incoming revenue by ensuring billable hours align with contract scope
  • Identify and address inefficiencies that impact profitability and create solutions to address inefficiencies
  • Collaborate with leadership to improve site performance and client retention
  • Ensure overall department success, morale, and standards are met

Requirements

  • Bilingual (English and Spanish) – Required
  • 5+ years of leadership/management experience in janitorial, cleaning, or field operations preferred
  • Proven experience managing teams of 15 or more staff
  • Strong organizational, communication, and scheduling skills
  • Ability to travel locally and be on-site as needed
  • Available for early mornings, occasional nights/weekends

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with time-tracking or scheduling software
  • Knowledge of commercial cleaning procedures and safety protocols
  • Ability to resolve staff or client conflicts quickly and effectively
  • Financial awareness of how operations affect revenue and profitability
  • Experience in a start-up environment

Compensation & Benefits

  • Salary: $65,000 – $75,000/year
