Commercial Pipe Welder

We’re growing and looking for a skilled Commercial Pipe Welder to join our team in Columbia, SC. Job Responsibilities:

• Weld carbon steel and stainless steel pipe in commercial settings
• Read and interpret blueprints and isometric drawings
• Cut, fit, and assemble pipe components prior to welding
• Use SMAW, GTAW, and other welding processes as needed
• Ensure all work meets quality and safety standards
• Collaborate with project teams to meet deadlines

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of pipe welding experience in commercial or industrial environments
• Proficient in TIG, Stick, and MIG welding
• Able to pass a welding test prior to employment
• Strong understanding of job site safety and PPE requirements
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various field conditions

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience as a Combo Welder (carbon and stainless, TIG/stick)
• OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification
• Experience with HVAC piping systems
