Physician Affiliate Group of New York (PAGNY)is adding a Physiatrist to the group at  NYC Health + Hospitals/Metropolitan. Located on First Avenue & 97th Street in Manhattan, it accommodates over 313,000 outpatient visits, nearly 70,000 emergency room visits, and more than 13,000 inpatient admissions annually. The hospital maintains an academic affiliation with  New York Medical College .

We are looking for a sessional Physiatrist to join our team to assist with weekend, on-call coverage.

• The candidate should be able to provide appropriate evaluation and prescription of a rehabilitation program for both ambulatory care patients and hospital consultations.
• In order to optimize patient care, the candidate should be able to lead a team of medical professionals including physical therapists, speech therapists and occupational therapists.

Qualifications

• Preferred qualifications are: previous acute inpatient rehabilitation experience.
• Candidates must be board-eligible or board certified in physical medicine and rehabilitation to practice as a physician in the field of medical rehabilitation.
• Hourly rate: $106.77
