Pride Health is hiring a phlebotomist II to support our client’s medical facility based in Glen Burnie, MD 21061. This is a 3-month assignment (Possibility of extension or conversion) opportunity and a great way to start working with a top-tier healthcare organization!

Pay rate: $21/hr -$23/hr

Location: Glen Burnie, MD 21061

Duration: 3-month, with possible extension

Shift: 7:00am-4:00pm Monday-Friday

Job Description:

Job Summary:

The Patient Services Representative II (PSR II) serves as the face of the company, interacting directly with patients for routine health visits and critical health decisions. This role involves:

• Drawing quality blood samples from patients and preparing specimens for laboratory testing.
• Ensuring safety, accuracy, and professionalism in every patient interaction.
• Creating an atmosphere of trust and confidence by clearly explaining procedures.
• Following established procedures, confidentiality policies, and process excellence standards.
• Working at doctor’s offices, patient service centers, or other locations based on business needs.

Specimen Collection & Processing:

• Perform forensic and clinical specimen collection with precision.
• Verify patient demographic information, including initials and signatures post-venipuncture.
• Ensure all specimens are properly labeled in the patient’s presence.
• 2 years of phlebotomy experience required
