Job Summary:
The Pallet Repair Technician is responsible for inspecting, repairing, and rebuilding wooden pallets to meet quality and safety standards. This position requires experience using hand and power tools in a fast-paced, industrial environment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Inspect pallets for damage and determine repair needs.
Use tools such as a Sawzall, hammer, and tape measure/ruler to replace or repair pallet boards.
Remove damaged boards and replace with new components as needed.
Ensure pallets meet company quality and safety standards.
Stack, organize, and prepare repaired pallets for shipment.
Maintain a clean and safe work area at all times.
Qualifications:
Experience using a Sawzall, hammer, and measuring tools is required.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
Prior pallet repair or general labor experience preferred.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
