Strategic Staffing Solutions is currently looking for a Medical /Lab Technologist for a W2 contract opportunity with one of our largest clients!

Job Title: Medical Lab Technologist (Onsite—Evening shift- 2.30p.m-11.00 p.m.)

Duration: 3 months

W2 contract engagement, No C2C.

Location: Jackson, MI

Schedule: Onsite, 2.30 p.m.-11.00 p.m.

Work schedule: 4 days a week

Under general supervision, performs routine and complex analytic procedures on blood and/or other body fluids or specimens, involving manual techniques or the use of laboratory instruments and information systems.

Required Skills & Experience:

• Requires six months of experience in a medical laboratory setting.
• Demonstrated technical proficiency and theoretical knowledge sufficient to perform laboratory functions are required.

Skills/Education:

• Completion of accredited Bachelor’s Degree program in medical technology, medical laboratory sciences, or clinical laboratory sciences.-
• A bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, microbiology, or Biology may be considered if completed coursework aligns with the duties of the specific Medical Technologist position. -
• Coursework completed outside of the US must be verified by a NACES-approved credential evaluation service.-
• Preferred Certifications: Certification at the technological level from a nationally recognized agency, such as ASCP, NCA, ASM, AABB, ACS, or HEW, is preferred.
