POSITION SUMMARY

We are seeking a passionate and motivated Marketing Intern to join our vibrant marketing department for a full-time summer 2025 internship. As a Marketing Intern at SGK, you will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in various aspects of marketing while working closely with our talented team of professionals. This internship will provide valuable insight into the inner workings of a creative agency and the opportunity to contribute to real client projects.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

•    Assist in the development and implementation of external marketing campaigns across various channels, including digital, social media, email, and traditional media
•    Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends, competitor activity, and potential opportunities for client campaigns.
•    Collaborate with the creative team to brainstorm ideas, develop concepts, and create engaging content for marketing materials.
•    Support the management of social media accounts by creating and scheduling posts, monitoring engagement, and analyzing performance metrics.
•    Assist in the coordination of events, workshops, and other marketing initiatives both internally and for clients.
•    Provide administrative support to the marketing department, including organizing files, updating databases, and preparing presentations

QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS

•    Current enrollment or recently graduated in a Bachelor's degree program, preferably in Marketing, Communications, Advertising, or a related field.
•    Strong passion for marketing, creativity, and storytelling.
•    Excellent written and verbal communication skills with attention to detail.
•    Ability to think creatively, problem-solve, and work effectively in a collaborative team environment.

•    Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with social media platforms.
•    Experience managing social media accounts (non personal) is a plus.
•    Familiarity with short form video content creation (TikTok, Reels, Shorts)

PHYSICAL ASPECTS / WORK ENVIRONMENT

•    Regularly required to stand; walk; sit; use hands and fingers, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk, hear and see.  
•    Regularly/Occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds. (Standard is 10lbs, modify as needed)
