Manager of Radiology will report to a senior clinical or ancillary services executive (such as the Chief Clinical Officer) and will lead a versatile team of multi-modality technologists and support staff. Manager of Radiology will collaborate closely with radiologists, Emergency Department and Surgical Services leaders, primary care and specialty clinics, Finance and Revenue Cycle for chargemaster optimization, IT/PACS, and Facilities for equipment lifecycle planning. Manager of Radiology will also coordinate with scheduling, materials management, and quality leaders to achieve operational and clinical goals.
Manager of Radiology will oversee a department that supports a steady mix of inpatient, ED, and outpatient imaging with a supportive, close-knit energy and an emphasis on safety and service. Manager of Radiology will guide general diagnostic X-ray, CT, and ultrasound operations while coordinating mobile or partner services for advanced modalities as needed, with full-time day shift leadership and 24/7 call coverage aided by on-site sleep rooms. Manager of Radiology will enjoy flexible scheduling options, including block scheduling and 10-hour shifts that make time off truly time off.
Manager of Radiology is a working manager who will step in on the modality floor when needed, participate in the on-call schedule with a 20-minute response to campus, and mentor staff in clinical competencies, protocol optimization, radiation safety, and patient experience. Manager of Radiology will own scheduling, timecard approvals, recruitment and onboarding, performance development, accreditation readiness, quality assurance, policy development, vendor and service contract coordination, equipment maintenance and upgrades, and radiology chargemaster oversight in partnership with Revenue Cycle. Manager of Radiology will leverage EMR/PACS proficiency to streamline workflows and documentation and will champion education across the team. Manager of Radiology qualifications include graduation from an accredited radiologic technology program (associate degree preferred), current WY license or temporary license upon hire, ARRT (R) certification, Basic Life Support preferred, and at least 3 years of medical imaging experience.
