Key Responsibilities:
- Perform as primary engineer responsible for inter-forest user migrations, account management and provisioning, and domain.
- Maintain solid understanding of business issues and technical solutions encountered during the migration of single forest or multi-forest Active Directory environments.
- Analyze the current Active Directory environment to identify both technical and operational challenges and develop solutions for improvement.
- Perform tenant level administration, policy configuration, and top-level support for enterprise-wide initiatives that integrate with Microsoft 365, including Microsoft Entra ID/Azure Active Directory, Exchange Online, and Exchange 2019 on-prem servers.
- Configure and manage Microsoft Entra ID/Azure Active Directory application registrations, application proxies, conditional access policies, and single-sign-on integrations with third party applications.
- Administer, configure, and troubleshoot the Microsoft 365 collaboration platform of services, following information security best practices and standards.
- Review and ensure the day-to-day availability of email related services like Exchange Online, on-prem Exchange 2019, as well as management of email security tools, such as Exchange Online Protection in Defender.
- A successful candidate will be a self-starter, someone who can work independently, and will be flexible in a fast-paced environment.
- Effectively collaborate within the team and with other technology partners to research and apply solutions that meet or exceed business requirements.
- Partner with colleagues to automate administration and other tasks that improve the efficient delivery of tasks and information to the team and other stakeholders.
- Assist other support teams as needed with new and changed processes.
- Perform regularly recurring reviews of logs and reports to remediate issues and ensure that systems are operating optimally.
- Create relevant reports for management and other stakeholders as requested.
- Provide On-Call support in a 24x7x365 enterprise environment.
Key Requirements and Technology Experience:
- Must have; Microsoft Azure Active Directory administration/Microsoft 365 tenant administration experience
- Windows 2019/2022 server administration experience
- Windows Group Policy (on-prem and Intune)
- Active Directory on-prem administration with domain controllers, DNS, domain trust relationships, etc.
- Exchange Online and Exchange 2019 administration experience
- BS/BA degree in related discipline in a related discipline and 4-7 years of experience in a related field; or equivalent work experience.
- Solid experience working with large, complex Active Directory migrations for customers, prospects, or clients.
- Expert knowledge administering on-prem Active Directory, Azure Active Directory/Entra ID administration in a hybrid environment.
- Expert knowledge administering Microsoft AD and AAD support services such as AAD Conditional Access Policies, AAD Self-Service Password Reset (SSPR), AAD Connect and Windows Server DNS.
- Expert knowledge designing, testing, deploying and maintaining Active Directory Group Policy and Intune Policies for the purpose of securing domain controllers, domain member servers and workstations.
- Strong working knowledge of Windows 2019/2022 operating systems platforms, DNS, networks, DMZs, network security zones.
- Expert analyzing security risks with proposed changes to Microsoft AD, AAD, Domain Controllers, GPOs, etc. and providing an understandable summary of those risks to management for proper implementation decisions.
- Experience administering multiple Microsoft Active Directory forests with forest trusts.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft GPOs, LDAP, AD Sites, Replication Topology, and native AD troubleshooting tools.
- Demonstrate proven experience with Microsoft Exchange 2019 and Exchange Online Administration in a hybrid environment.
- Demonstrated advanced proficiency with Microsoft PowerShell scripting.
- Highly motivated, self-starter with a positive attitude and success in a fast-paced environment within a customer experience-focused operations organization.
- Demonstrated ability to succeed in a dynamic, team environment.
- Ability to work independently and effectively collaborate with as a member of a team.
