Now Hiring: Landscape Designer

Our client is currently seeking a Landscape Designer for its Landscape Architecture practice in its multidisciplinary office space in Herndon, Virginia.

Their diverse portfolio ranges from large-scale campus plans and K-12 facilities to intimate courtyards and residential communities, providing opportunities for ongoing learning and the development of well-rounded expertise.

Key Responsibilities

As a Landscape Designer, you'll receive hands-on mentorship while collaborating with a dynamic team to develop creative design solutions for a variety of project types. Key responsibilities include:

• Working with project team members to guide the design and execution of projects of diverse scales and types.
• Assisting in the creation of design and construction drawings for landscape and site designs, including layout, grading, and hardscape.
• Collaborating with senior team members to develop conceptual designs using both hand-drawn and digital techniques.
• Creating digital graphics and renderings using Adobe Creative Suite and other presentation software.
• Providing support in graphic design, technical production, urban and landscape design, and site planning for projects such as mixed-use residential developments, streetscapes, parks, and community facilities.

Preferred Qualifications

• Landscape architectural degree (one-year of professional experience or internship preferred).
• AutoCAD / Adobe Creative Suite & design proficiency.
• Experience with Sketchup, Revit, and other 3D modeling platforms.
• Have a passion for collaboration throughout the design and execution of projects.
