Job Title: R&D Lab Support Specialist

Location: Northfield, IL (with support at Northbrook as needed)

Responsibilities

• Wash lab glassware, fill solvent containers, stock supplies, and empty glassware bins. Support the Laboratory Inventory System.
• Provide chemical waste disposal support for Northfield R&D.
• Assist with upkeep and inspections of the Chemical Waste Room and Flammable Supply Room.
• Restock and clean safety glasses.
• Manage collection and shipment of gloves for recycling.
• Collaborate with R&D EHS and other subject matter experts.
• Provide backup coverage for shipping and front desk

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; able to learn databases and web applications.
• Able to work at both Northfield and Northbrook offices.
• Strong attention to detail, organization, and communication skills.
• Able to manage multiple tasks.
• Must lift 50 lbs and maneuver 55-gallon drums.
