Massachusetts Veterinary Referral Hospital in Woburn, Massachusetts is looking to expand our Inpatient & Outpatient Care in our Internal Medicine department. Whether you’re an experienced technician or just beginning your veterinary career, if you have a passion for patient care, this could be the role for you!
What You'll Do as a Treatment Technician: Comprehensive Care: Play a vital role in delivering top-tier care to a diverse range of hospitalized patients across multiple departments.
Develop & Apply Technical Skills: From collecting samples to administering medications and calculating dosages, your skills—whether developing or advanced—will be key in ensuring our patients receive excellent care.
Monitor & Assess Patients: Your attention to detail will help you perform patient assessments, monitor vital signs, and respond appropriately in various situations.
Compassionate Communication: Educate and update pet owners with empathy, ensuring a smooth and supportive experience for both clients and patients.
Schedule: - Four 9-hour shifts per week to include a weekend component
- 7AM-4PM
Compensation: - $22 - $30 pending skills assessment leveling
- Even higher for VTS!

While experience is a plus, we welcome those who are eager to grow and develop their technical skills. Key competencies include:
Venipuncture
Placing IV catheters
Drug calculations
Administration of medications (IV or other methods)
Taking vitals
Gathering medical history
Fluent English skills (speaking & reading) are required.
