Appraisal Desk Coordinator – Hybrid (Raleigh, NC)

We’re seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Appraisal Desk Coordinator to join a high-growth private lending company in Raleigh, NC. This position plays a key role in managing the appraisal process from order through completion — ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance within a fast-paced operations environment.

Responsibilities:

• Collect and review documentation required to place appraisal orders

• Manage a pipeline of appraisal orders, ensuring timely completion

• Perform QC desk reviews of completed appraisals

• Communicate with appraisers, borrowers, and internal teams

• Build and maintain relationships with appraisers nationwide

• Deliver a first-class customer service experience for borrowers and partners

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree

• Minimum 2 years of experience in mortgage lending with a focus on appraisal operations

• At least 1 year of mortgage operations experience and 3 years of administrative experience

• Strong communication, time management, and organizational skills

• Detail-oriented and self-motivated

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

• Prior experience working with an AMC or lender appraisal desk preferred

Compensation & Benefits:

• Base salary: $50,000–$60,000 (based on experience)

• Benefits: Health, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, PTO, and Hybrid Work Schedule

• Hours: 9:30 a.m.–5:30 p.m., Monday–Friday
